Wowak’s Backshop: Locomotive Modification and Construction

553690_10200928299070051_494259841_nBrian Wowak grew up playing with Lionel Trains, studied Industrial Design at the Rochester Institute of Technology, and spends his spare time modifying O-gauge trains, among other hobbies.  Originally from Shenandoah, PA, and the great grandson of a Polish Immigrant Anthracite coal miner, Brian has always been fascinated with Northeast PA’s coal roads,  esp. the Reading Company.  (Seeing  T-1 2102 in action on the BM&R probably didn’t hurt, either.)

Brian builds models of Reading Company steam engines in preparation for the day he will be able to build a hi-rail model of the Reading’s Shamokin division.  Brian also does locomotive modification on a contract basis.  You can contact him for more information using this form:
